Englewood youth will "hit the runway" on Saturday, September 25, 2010, at the 3rd annual youth fundraiser of 'Imagine Englewood if . . .!'  The theme is "Hollywood in Englewood. . . Where Stars Walk," and the young models will showcase the designs of Chi-Vas White, Englewood native and creator of ONELLW Athletic Clothing.  They will also receive certificates of recognition for their contribution to the event’s success.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to strengthen and empower the Englewood community through teaching youth healthy living, environmental awareness and positive communication skills.  Proceeds from "Hollywood in Englewood" will provide funding for IEi's Youth Empowerment and Leadership programs which focus on lead awareness, prevention and treatment.  Englewood has one of the highest incidence of lead-poisoning in the nation, and children's lives are being ruined.  Our primary goal is a lead-free community where residents take an active part in social change.  Through media and advocacy training, our youth become a core component of IEi's efforts.  We won't stop until Englewood is lead-free.   

The youth gala includes entertainment by Englewood artists, and a light dinner will be served.
